Coast Bastion Lounge
I did the Coast Bastion Lounge in cooperation with Budget Glass. The job was commissioned by an interior design office who requested that these large panels of glass (they were 4ft by 10ft each) should be frosted 75% from the top to fade out at a 4 ft height from the floor. It was a serious challenge that I only could meet because Budget Glass let me have a space that made it possible to work on panels that large, and my clever husband was able to rig some scaffolding up that helped give me a steady hand so I could sandblast the wide panels evenly. It turned out very beautiful, a challenging project in terms of getting the frosting even and just right for the space.
I think it looks more like silk than like sandblasting, but I do think it looks nice
