Nanette Kagel's Office Dividers

These dividers were created for a family counseling office in southern Washington State. The client really wanted the design theme to focus on children. I wanted the design to show movement because children are always moving. I designed the characters to break through the borders at various points to create that movment. The borders created a consistency throughout the panels. The consistency is important as there is much happening within each panel.

The stylized design for the trees that sit amongst the children came from the tapestry from Bayeux.
